Having worked with a reputed Stock Broking House as an Institutional Dealer and Research Analyst, she returned back to core practise as a Chartered Accountant as a Sr. Auditor with Borkar and Muzumdar, Chartered Accountants in 2009.

In 2015, she started her own practise as CA Kavita Shah before joining hands with R R Modi & Associates as a Partner in 2017.
